However, in order to accommodate as many autograph requests as possible, we ask that you please adhere to the following guidelines while at this event:
  1. Autograph lines will be located throughout the Joe Louis Arena concourse and will be open to all fans. Current Red Wings players and alumni will be signing between 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  2. The autograph sessions will be conducted in a “treasure hunt” style.  Accordingly, autograph schedules will not be announced in advance.
  3. Participation of specific players and alumni will be posted online as they become available, however they are subject to change or cancellation without notice.
  4. At least one Red Wings player or alumnus will be in attendance at each autograph station throughout HockeyFest from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  5. There will be separate, clearly-marked lines for current players' autograph booths and alumni autograph booths to ensure fans will know beforehand which type of autograph to expect when they reach the front.
  6. All players/alumni will be instructed to sign only one item per person. We ask that you please have your selected item ready to be autographed. Your cooperation will expedite the flow through each line.
  7. Posed photographs with players or alumni will not be allowed at autograph stations.
  8. Players and alumni at each table will change sporadically. Thus, fans are not guaranteed the autograph of the specific person who was signing when the fan entered the autograph line.
  9. Near the end of each player/alumni signing period, the line will be temporarily halted in order to place a new player or alumni at each open station. The line will then resume movement as normal once that individual is in place.
  10. Autograph lines will be temporarily closed once they reach capacity. If this occurs, fans will be directed to other autograph areas or HockeyFest activities throughout Joe Louis Arena. Fans will not be allowed to “wait” in the area for an autograph line to re-open. The Red Wings appreciate your cooperation with this policy.
  11. Fans in need of special assistance to participate in the autograph line process should ask a Guest Service Representative, crowd manager or autograph volunteer for assistance.
  12. The Red Wings reserve the right to deny any item inappropriate for signature.

  • A Gold Ticket guarantees the bearer two autographs from every single player on the 2015-16 Red Wings roster.
  • A Gold Ticket guarantees the bearer access into the Manhattan Room at 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. where a 30-minute private autograph session will be held.
  • Gold Ticket members are allowed front of line access to the Alumni autograph line only as the Alumni will not be a part of the player signing in the Manhattan Room.
  • Breakfast and lunch will be served, free of charge, to all Gold Ticket Members at these private signings.

Within each signing period, all Gold Ticket Members will be able to present their two items to each player for an autograph.

There will be no posed photos allowed at any of the autograph lines.

  • Gold Tickets will not be sent out in the mail. All Gold Ticket Members will pick up their commemorative lanyard and packet at the will call booth prior to entering the Joe.
  • Gold Ticket Members are allowed to enter all other Autograph lines throughout HockeyFest however they are not granted front of line access, except for the Alumni Autograph line.
  • In order to receive all player autographs you must be present at HockeyFest during both the 10:30 a.m. and the 1:00 p.m. private signings inside the Manhattan Room. If you come late or miss either of these signings, you are no longer guaranteed an autograph from all present players.
  • If there are any current players that are not present at HockeyFest, we will mail you one autographed hockey puck and one autographed 8x10 photo per player that is not present. This will ensure that you will receive two autographs of every player on the 2015-16 roster even if they are not present at HockeyFest. Photo Opportunities
There will be unique places and items located around The Joe to get your picture taken. These include, but are not limited to:
  • All four Stanley Cup Banners won at Joe Louis Arena (1997, 1998, 2002 & 2008)

  • The Player Bench
For all photo opportunities, we ask that you please bring your own camera. We will not have photographers on hand.

Interactive Hockey Games
Various interactive games will be placed on the covered ice and around the concourse for fans to line up and take turns playing. Interactive games include: Goalie Challenge, Hardest Shot, Electronic Top Shot Net, Super Deker, Mini-sticks, etc. Players will appear sporadically to play alongside fans, either instructing them on technique or challenging them to a match.
