Bruce Haralson

Bruce Haralson enters his seventh campaign as a pro scout for the Detroit Red Wings after spending the previous 14 seasons as an amateur scout with the organization. His primary responsibilities include scouting National Hockey League clubs based in the western United States and Canada, along with their American Hockey League affiliates.

Bruce is responsible for evaluating talent at the NHL and AHL levels in order to provide input to Red Wings' management regarding potential trades and free agent acquisitions. In his previous role, Bruce scouted amateur players in the junior and college ranks playing in the western United States and Canada in advance of the annual NHL entry draft.

Bruce and his wife, Lise, live in Lynden, Washington, and spend their summers in Phoenix, Arizona. They have two sons, Jay and Chad.
